'One of my black and white toned images of the swirling centre of a ranunculus flower is being used in Calumets new Photographic Rental Guide alongside those of photographers like Trevor Leighton, David Noton and Terry O'Neill - on page 21. Calumet will be printing 25,000 copies, most of which will be distributed via their stores and picked up by creative agencies, production houses and studios PLUS they will be taking it to all the events and shows over the next few months' To view the guide click here......

'I have just finished a shoot at the new workshops of David Harber. I have shot a lot of the images on their website www.davidharbersundials.co.uk
David makes the most amazing sundials, sculptures and water features, earning an international reputation for creating innovative, contemporary designs paying homage to the past, and taking the marking of time as his inspiration. Some of the images I took were duotoned to give a slightly different look.

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL -
I have just launched a collection of limited edition and fine art prints of flower and garden photographs at an exhibition in the Cotswolds.
Hosted by Bookseller of the Year, Jaffé & Neale in Oxfordshire’s market town of Chipping Norton, the exhibition which is called "Up Close and Personal" will run from 30 June 2008 to 20 July 2008 and will feature a range of stunning shots on canvas and as fine art prints.
I will be making a special guest appearance at the bookshop and gallery on Saturday 12 July 2008 when I will host a special photo clinic. The idea of the clinic is for amateur and professional photographers to come along with their cameras and photographs and have a short session discussing technique with me. The clinic runs from 10.00am to 2.00pm so hopefully I may see some of you there.

Ive allowed some of my images to be used in a hospital bedhead project. The bedhead is an attempt to tidy up all the nursing information that needs to be on display and at the same time to create a welcome and uplifting image for patients. The trial is at of two wards at Kingston and if it is successful they will roll it out through the hospital. Clive

Hi,
I was in London last week on a one day shoot for The Evening Standard. It was a really hot day but the location was great as there was enough cover to avoid direct sunlight...the photos should be in the Chelsea Flower Show week edition of the paper.

Hi,
Ive just recently completed a three day shoot for a well known retailer. We shot on location in Hertfordshire and we are due to photograph flowers and plants for the 'winter collection' at the end of the month. I will update here when I have some photos to show you. Please click here for photos

The team at Garden Photographer of the Year are in the process of planning a unique event that will be part of the Kew Summer Festival from May to September 2008. Im on the panel of judges and have really enjoyed seeing the variation in photo choices and the quality has been very high.
Kew Gardens is a photographer's paradise - come and be inspired!
